What we sell

Posterify sells private guiding services and itinerary planning on Rapa Nui (Easter Island). Specifically, that is the time of an accredited local guide, ground transport on the island during your guided days, and the planning work before you travel.

We are not a travel agency. We do not sell, book, or hold money for flights, accommodation, travel insurance, or national park tickets. You arrange all of those yourself, directly with the provider. We will tell you what you need and when, but the bookings are yours.

Inquiries are not bookings

Submitting the planning form does not reserve anything. It starts a conversation. A booking exists only once we have confirmed the guide's availability in writing, you have accepted a written quote, and payment has been arranged as set out in that quote.

Availability

Tavake Rapu guides one group at a time. Dates discussed during planning are not held for you until confirmed in writing. In peak season, dates can be taken between your inquiry and your reply.

Prices and quotes

Rates published on this website are indicative and shown in US dollars. Your binding price is the one in your written quote. Any currency conversions shown on the site are approximations for guidance only.

Your responsibilities before travel

Chile controls entry to Rapa Nui, and we cannot guide you if you are unable to reach the island. You are responsible for:

• Completing the FUI entry form before you travel.
• Holding a non-transferable return ticket within the permitted 30-day stay.
• Booking accommodation at a SERNATUR-accredited establishment, or holding a valid invitation letter.
• Buying a national park ticket, currently about USD 100 per adult.
• Valid travel documents and, we strongly recommend, travel insurance.

If you are refused boarding or entry because one of these is missing, guiding fees already paid may not be refundable. We will always help you get these right beforehand.

Changes, weather, and cancellation

Flights to Rapa Nui are occasionally delayed or cancelled, and island weather changes quickly. Where the guide's calendar allows, we reschedule your guided days at no extra charge. Specific cancellation and refund terms are set out in your written quote and agreed before you pay.

We may alter the order or content of a guided day for safety, weather, or park access reasons. We will always explain why.

Park rules

Inside Rapa Nui National Park you must follow the rules set by Ma'u Henua and remain with your accredited guide. We will not breach park rules, approach restricted areas, or touch protected structures at a guest's request.

Limits of liability

Guided activities take place outdoors on uneven volcanic terrain. You are responsible for assessing your own fitness and for telling us about mobility needs or health conditions in advance. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the guiding fees you have paid us.

Accuracy of information on this site

We date every planning article and link official sources. Entry rules and park prices change, sometimes without notice. Always confirm current requirements on the official Chilean government and Ma'u Henua channels before you travel.

Guiding services are performed in Chile and these terms are governed by Chilean law. Questions go to hello@posterify.org.
